Language barrier a potential challenge? We’ve heard good things about Lonely Planet’s Fast Talk app which provides hundreds of various often used phrases at the touch of a button. They currently offer French, German, Italian, Spanish (European & Latin American dialects) and are working on more.
We couldn’t have a financial planning blog without talking a little bit about money. When dealing with currency exchange, XE Currency App seems to be a favorite of many international traveler. They have apps available for Apple, Android, Blackberry, Windows, Firefox and many more.
